Reviews for Goose: 1/26/2022 Marquee Theatre, Tempe, AZ

If I am not mistaken the guys discuss that Mustang Sally opener in their Fred Fest doc…. I thought it was a funny bit bc Peter is talking about how internet folks talked shit about it but in my friend group that Mustang Sally was legendary! Life is all about perspective. I think it’s a bad ass cover. The most stretched out a Mustang Sally has ever been! Oh and the Electric Avenue here will get your pregnant so wear protection.

What we witnessed on Wednesday was remarkable. Some of the best jams I've witnessed in a very long time! Electric Ave...Dawn at the end of set 2...Sally..killed it! Goose is here to stay for a long time. Peace!

I’ve been to at least 50 shows at the Marquee (from spafford to Gwar to Childish Gambino) I have never seen it that packed or that loud before! Shit was WILD!!!

The Elizabeth is even better upon relistening than it was live. Ok . Maybe not that good, but it’s still unfreaking real. Solid jams in electric avenue and tumble. A show. This band is fire.

Tour opener and I’m feeling like I did in 2020 when I discovered Goose. So excited. And yes, what a Slave tease in Elizabeth. On point with this show

I'm wondering why they didn't finish playing Slave To The Traffic Light by the band Phish after trying to in the second set. Sad.
