How about the beautiful a cappella version of “am I born to die” by Doc Watson! Re-done by none other than Billy Strings!

So nice to hear younger musicians just killin it on stage night after night. Ive heard pretty much this whole year's worth of BMFS shiws here on nugs. Its such a wonderful service being able to hear these shows so quickly upon their completion. Add that to the pendulum finally shifting back where it should be in America...This ole dog is happy!

Great show, but definitely not a great day. Another sad day for America

I danced so hard I was staggering when I left!

What a wonderful show. A great night for bluegrass and live music on the best day for life in 50 years!

I would just like to add that I’ve always thought that Planet Caravan is a highly slept on track off Paranoid. Never in a million years would I have thought that Billy and the band would not only cover it but absolutely crush it. Incredible show all around

Hey Jo - I completely understand where you’re coming from and was kind of waiting for the same thing. However, I thought they played with more intentionality last night - like they were expressing their anger through the music. And also thought the set list (especially the end of the 2nd) seemed to point to protest. He’s used his platform before - search IG for his post following the George Floyd tragedy where he shared a really frightening story. Anyway, be well and continue fighting the good fight. By the way, Dead and Co definitely made a statement last night at Wrigley. Chicago a bit more politically friendly than NC, though.
